Meet Us

Nathan Oh

Nathan began his career at Walmart eCommerce, where he owned the P&L for multiple product categories. In his role, he led cross-functional initiatives to optimize supply chains, pricing strategies, and vendor partnerships that delivered company wide record revenue and profit growth.

He later joined Meta’s Strategic Planning and Operations team as a Program Manager, overseeing workflow strategy Facebook Marketplace and Buy-Sell Groups, Meta’s largest commerce platforms. At Meta, Nathan led engineers, analysts, and project managers to implement automation, AI/ML, and cost saving initiatives while improving user experience and operational integrity across key markets.

During his MBA, he worked supporting an active searcher and then at Five Bays Capital, where he worked directly with the leadership team on strategic projects involving market expansion, financial modeling, and operational improvement following the company’s acquisition.

Born in Busan, South Korea and raised in Southern California, Nathan grew up in a family of entrepreneurs who inspired his drive to build, lead, and create value. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, boxing, fishing, and baseball.

Nathan holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Studies from New York University and is currently finalizing an MA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School.

Gary Kim

Gary is a Navy Civil Engineer Corps Officer and Seabee who led construction and repair projects across shipyards and naval bases in the Pacific. He has worked side by side with skilled tradesmen on heavy equipment operations, utilities repair, base expansion, and dry dock restoration.

Today, Gary serves as a Navy Reserve officer with the 7th Naval Construction Regiment and writes for the U.S. Naval Institute, where he also serves on both the editorial board and the board of directors. Born in Seoul, raised in California and Pennsylvania, he is passionate about rebuilding the American maritime industrial base, the trades, and the small businesses that power the industry.

Gary holds a B.A. in Mechanical Engineering and History from Columbia University and is currently pursuing an MBA from The Wharton School.
